The Mad Hack

This is a game I made to play with my friends. It combines some of my favorite things about B/X, SEACAT, and 5e. Getting started with character creation is simple, but the characters are highly customizable and fairly good at surviving damage. 

My favorite thing about this game is the base + topper class combinations. There are 50+ different classes possible when you combine the base and topper classes and it's fun to experiment with different options. You could be a Barbarian Magic-User, Greenwitch Dwarf, or Psychic Rogue. Every topper class has a unique set of spells, too!

This game comes with a baked-in setting with details about the 5 peoples of the canyon and the elves and dwarves who live above. It's meant to be a game of exploration - you are the first people in generations to find the magical world outside the canyon and explore it. There are also details about the Goddesses and a new, unaligned, alignment. 

I've play tested this fairly extensively and a lot of the modifications come from things my players asked for. Thank you to all my players who've given feedback!
